| Materialspecifikation | R-HDPE or High Density Polyethylene. R-HDPE is a sturdy semi-transparent plastic with a matt surface. R-HDPE has a good water and oxygen barrier and is also reasonably break- and fall-resistant. R-HDPE is the most commonly used plastic for plastic bottles. R-HDPE is generally resistant to acid and alkaline products and alcohol. R-HDPE is also resistant to a wide spectrum of chemicals, except some solvents such as white spirit and benzene. R-HDPE is not suitable for essential oils. The R-HDPE raw material currently used is NOT food grade according to European legislation. Heat resistant up to approx. 70ºC. This depends on how long the packaging is in contact with this temperature. We recommend a maximum of hand-warm cleaning and use. R-HDPE packaging may be frozen, although the expansion of the product you put in the bottle may cause the bottle to deform or crack open. |
