HDPE has a good water and oxygen barrier and is also reasonably crack and fall resistant. HDPE is the most used plastic in the manufacture of plastic bottles. HDPE is generally well resistant to acid and alkaline products and alcohol. HDPE is also resistant to a broad spectrum of chemicals, with the exception of some solvents such as turpentine and benzene. HDPE is not suitable for distilled oils. Suitable for food. |
